Streaming & Video Guidelines
Last updated: November 5, 2026
These guidelines explain how you may use games published by LinQ Inc. (“we”) under the name UG Studio in live streams, videos and social media posts. They cover every UG Studio title, including the UG Kitchen cooking games, mini games, games you play with friends (multiplayer), browser games and our App Store apps. No title is excluded from streaming or video use.
This page is a translation. If it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version applies.
No permission needed
As long as you follow these guidelines, you may stream, upload videos and post clips without asking us or contacting us. This applies to individuals as well as companies, VTuber agencies and creator groups, and to any platform, such as YouTube, Twitch, Niconico, TikTok, X or Instagram. You may also stream beta versions (pages under beta/), but please note that their content may change and they may have bugs.
Monetization
You are free to monetize through the features of your platform, such as ad revenue, memberships, Super Chat and Super Stickers, tips, donations and Bits. You may also use our games in sponsored content without asking us, as long as it is not presented as something we commissioned.
You may also use our games in members-only or paid streams and videos. Credit is required in that case.
Credit
There are other games with similar names or similar gameplay, so please include the following credit so viewers can tell where the game comes from. Put it in the description. Where there is no description, put it in the post text or on screen.
Credit: “UG Studio https://ugstudio.ooo”
Credit is required for
- Live streams
- Videos by companies, agencies or creator groups, and sponsored videos
- Planned videos (series, guides, walkthroughs, etc.)
- Clips
- Members-only or paid streams and videos
Credit is optional for
Short casual videos and images that individuals post on social media (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, X posts, etc.). We would appreciate it if you include it.
Adding the game’s name as well helps viewers find the game.
Example: “Game: UG Kitchen (UG Studio https://ugstudio.ooo)”
Not allowed
- Making people believe that your stream or video is official, or that we supervise or partner with you
- Extracting images, 3D models, sounds or code from our games to distribute, sell or use in other works outside of gameplay footage
- Videos that only show the game itself without any play or commentary (for example, reposting a collection of result screens)
- Streams meant to spread cheating with bugs or harassment of other players
- Using our games together with content that harms us, other players or anyone else, or that violates the law or your platform’s terms
Multiplayer games and shared content
If you show a room number or password of a multiplayer game on stream, strangers may join. Please hide it unless you are playing with your viewers. Names and works posted by other players, such as in the dish request list or the Frappe Museum, may appear on screen. If someone complains about what appeared, please respond, for example by hiding that part.
Other
We may change these guidelines without notice. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Streams and videos already published follow the guidelines that applied when they were published. If we find use that breaks these guidelines, we may ask for it to be removed.
For uses not covered here (TV, magazines, events, advertising, merchandise, etc.) or any questions, please contact us at the email address on our About / Contact page (in Japanese; English is fine).
